Why do we test this?

The 'Web of Trust' is a popular tool which is used worldwide by people to determine if a site is trustworthy.  It is based upon user submissions, those who use the service can also report back on the trustworthiness of sites.

How do we test for this?

We check the Web of Trust statistics and mark a site down only if it scores very badly with the Web of Trust.  This test has little impact on the overall score of a site.
